HR-XML Consortium Launches HRCertify.org
Twenty-One Technology Leaders Are First to Be Awarded Certification
Philadelphia, 2003 Oct 8 Twenty-one HR technology leaders are the
first to be awarded certification under the HR-XML Consortiums new HRcertify
program. Allegis Group; American Background; CareerBuilder.com LLC;
ExecuTRACK Software; eWork Exchange Inc.; Fidelity Investments; Hewitt
Associates; Hire.com; HireCheck, a First Advantage company; HireRight;
Jobpartners Ltd.; Manpower; milch & zucker; Oracle; PeopleClick;
PeopleSoft Inc.; Resume Mirror; SAP; Sterling Testing Systems; Ultimate
Software; and Unicru are the first companies to achieve certified status
by successfully demonstrating use of the HR-XML Consortiums open
data exchange standards.
The HR-XML Consortium's open standards make it easier to deploy
integrated HR solutions. The standards were developed through the open
processes of the HR-XML Consortium and encapsulate a wealth of knowledge
contributed by individuals and organizations from across the HR management
domain.
We offer our congratulations to these 21 companies for leading the
way in the implementation of HR-XML standards, said HR-XML
Consortium President Lon Pilot. Increasingly, HR professionals are
making compliance with open standards part of the criteria they use when
procuring HR solutions. The growing registry of certified solutions
available at www.HRcertify.org will make it much easier to find vendors
that support HR-XML Consortium standards, according to Pilot.
With the announcement of the first certified companies comes the
official launch of HRcertify.org, the home of the HR-XML Consortiums
certification program. HRcertify.org is the place to locate software and
services that use the HR-XML Consortiums data exchange standards.
Organizations that successfully complete the certification process are
awarded a logo to use on their websites and a link to a conformance
statement within the HRcertify.org registry. The HR-XML certified logo
signals that a vendor is a technology leader and is ready to integrate
flexibly and opportunistically with customers and partners. The
HRcertify.org registry provides prospective customers and partners a place
where they can learn about a particular vendors integration
capabilities using HR-XML Consortium standards.
