Extensions are optional and will be placed in the UserArea portion of the documents. The services support SOAP over HTTP and HTTPS. e-Selex SET uses the HR-XML assessment specification schema to enable flexible integration with customers and partners so they may use e-Selex.com's online assessment services. To order a e-Selex.com assessment a partner sends an AssessmentOrderRequest document to the SET service. The service validates and processes the request, then returns an AssessmentOrderAcknowledgement document which includes information on how the candidate can take the assessment. When the candidate completes the assessment it is scored and the SET service sends the results to the Partner in an AssessmentResult document. Partners can send an AssessmentStatusRequest to retrieve the current status of a candidate's assessment. If the assessment is complete, an AssessmentResult document can be returned. Partners can also send an AssessmentCancelRequest to cancel a candidate's assessment. e-Selex SET offers optional extensions using the UserArea. With the UserArea the service can collect additional information such as candidate data or send links to other e-Selex.com detailed reports. Any additional data collected can be used to support partner and customer needs.
